The Claremont Hotel

Southwest Harbor, Maine

Tasked with retaining the storied history and inherent charm of an iconic Maine hotel, Keeler & Co. collaborated intimately with the client’s Creative Director, Krista Stokes, to redesign The Claremont Hotel.

Set on the coast of Mount Desert Island, overlooking the mountains of Acadia National Park, the hotel is infused with nostalgia and whimsy - classic wallpapers and layered textiles spend their days adorning the hotel’s reimagined lobby, restaurant and bar areas. A mix of treasured original furnishings brought back to life play alongside new patterns and fresh silhouettes. From the rich plaids and leathers that create intimate cocktail evenings in Harry’s Bar, to the storied florals and exuberant stripes lending to garden-inspired dining, and the outdoor infused woodland cabins for a total retreat, the hotel is designed to last for generations of guests to come.
